Native shrubs tend to be forgotten in the native plant conversations. Bottlebrush Buckeye and other large native shrubs provide excellent habitat for pollinators, beneficial insects and birds. A row of Bottlebrush Buckeye combined with other native shrubs provides far more habitat support and visual interest than a row of Arborvitaes.
