In 2019 there was the news about 30% decline in bird populations, then our hives where raided by someone's hungry bees early fall.

It' time to rethink the suburban yard, starting with the easy stuff:

Rethink the suburban yard, one step at a time.

• Native perennials to feed beneficial insects.

• Large flowering shrubs shelter and feed birds

• Shade trees to cool, soak up carbon and storm water, provide habitat

• Leave your leaves to shelter beneficial insects and other critters
